Rv Ceiling Carpet Stain

We especially hate carpet on the ceiling and whatever the manufacturer wants to call it to us it is thin fuzzy carpet on the ceiling.

Bought an oil based primer and it took me 4 hours to thoroughly cover 4 sq ft of this stuff. The fabric ceilings when they get moisture pull the coloring from the wood backing to the fabric and leave water rings. I ve dealt with my fair share of carpet but this is the first rv i have renovated with a carpeted ceiling. Cannot stand having anything that i cannot sanitize.

Let it sit there overnight. The appearance of a water stain is usually the first sign of a roof leak or a faulty seal. The problem is carpet doesn t wear well especially when exposed to the kind of abuse an rv gets over time. Once the leak has been sealed and the ceiling and or drapes are dry spray some woolite oxydeep for carpet and upholstery on the ceiling and curtain stains.
