Awning rail is pulling a away from the rv hi folks my winnebago 35 u anwing and rail closes to the back is pulling away from the rv wall. Screws loose on awning rails allows the water in and the water seeps into the particle board and gets sucked up by the carpet.

Has anyone else had this happen to them. Long story short the awning rails are screwed into the floor of the rv which is nothing more than a thin sheet of particle board. I had to do some serious metal straightening to get it back w. Rain is due in next couple days and 2 screws are completely out of camper that hold the awning rail in and a third screw is now just about out. Is there any glues that i can use along with screws that you recommend. May have to drill the hole a little larger.

Best fix seems to be to replace 4 6 or so screws on each end of the awning rail with oscar rivets they are like a molly. I see visible appearance of the awning rail pulling away more and more.
