The easiest way to check your power is with the battery meter built in to your rv.
Upon inspection there is a small motor bolted to a gear reduction assembly.

Here are the items to check for power problems.
The awning does not function properly now it will move in and out with the remote but operates very slowly and does not lock into the travel trailer the switch on the wall for operating the awning works sporadically most of the time this switch will extend the awning but not retract it.
Under normal situations the nut will run the awning in or out depending on which way you turn it.
Fortunately i was able to quickly diagnose the problem was the manual power switch itself and not the motor fuse or wiring.
I deduced this in two ways.
The bolts holding the reducer.

Retract a battery operated rv awning manually when batteries do not have enough power.
Check the power connections to see if there is a short in the wiring or the cord is not plugged in.
Charge or replace the batteries as needed.
Watch for any interference at the same time.
