But there s a method to trick revit into presenting the area and it s pretty sweet by creating a tag which is able to show area and then trick.
From the ribbon create tab text panel label.
When you place an area tag you can assign a unique name to the area.
Before you can add area tags you must add areas to the area plan.
I looked all over the annotation library and see tags for floors walls ceiling columns etc.
There are no default roof tags that i have found.
If you do not use the tag on placement option when creating areas you can use the following procedure to add area tags later.
